I felt the need to write this down

I saw you on the T.V, handsome, brave, and true

I’ve known some of your demons, shared some of your fears
But you’ve loved more than you’ve hated, and that love won’t disappear

I listened to the radio, sometimes you’re not so clear
Static on the airwaves at times you’re hard to hear
When I look up at these stars tonight from a million light years past
Epiphanies and supernovas come to me at last

Broken on airwaves, at times you disappear
If stars are time’s illusion, your light is always here
And on this full moon Christmas, twenty-fifteen the year,
I want to say I love you James in my song for you
While you’re still here.
